About Furniture Layout Planner

What this tool does

The Furniture Layout Planner is a top-down room planner for arranging furniture before you move heavy pieces. Set your room width and length in metres, add items from the catalog, then drag, rotate, and resize them on a realistic floor.

Pieces snap to walls when dragged nearby, overlap cleanly for layered setups (such as a TV on a stand), and stay true to size when you change room dimensions, so you can test layouts for living rooms, bedrooms, and home offices.

How to use it

  1. 1Enter room width and length in metres, then pick a flooring style from the dropdown.
  2. 2Search the catalog and click a item to place it at the room centre.
  3. 3Click furniture to select it, then drag to move. Scroll over the room to zoom in or out.
  4. 4Use the rotation slider (with snap points at 90°, 180°, 270°, and 360°) and width/depth fields while an item is selected.
  5. 5Use Bring to front / Send to back when items overlap, and Delete or Remove item to clear a piece.

Frequently asked questions

Are the furniture sizes accurate?
Each item has default width and depth in metres that you can adjust after placing. The 3D models scale to fit those dimensions; use real product measurements when precision matters.
Can I save my layout?
Layouts are not saved to an account yet. Take a screenshot of your plan or note dimensions and positions if you need a record.
Why does furniture snap to the walls?
Wall snapping makes it easier to align sofas, beds, and desks flush with room edges. Drag slightly away from a wall to place items freely in the centre of the room.
